You just got home from work and want to charge the car. You plug it in and it goes to around 7.5kW initial load. Then you head for the shower while your partner kindly switches on the hob and start making the dinner. Right now you’ve got the shower, hob and Car Charger working hard! With a Smart charger, it knows that a lot of load if being used elsewhere in the house. So it drops to a lower output to prevent overloading the fuseboard. When you step out of the shower if increases the level to the car a bit more. Then when to hob is switched off it increases the Car even further. ALL AUTOMATICALLY!
